There are two winter sessions Session 1 Nov-Jan Weekly Once, total 8 classes Time: 1 hr each class 8 weeks ( 11/28, 12/05,12/12, 12/19, 01/9, 01/16,01/23, 01/30) All material included Over eight sessions, the focus of the class is to teach a few mixed media techniques and to encourage kids to express themselves without fear of judgment. Positive reinforcement and constructive feedback to build their confidence and motivate them to continue exploring their creativity. They will be completing at least two to three artworks to bring home. The art projects that students will focus on are outlined below. -Creating an art by decoupaging and painting on a wooden panel -Multi layered Masking tape technique and artwork -Creating a multicolored paper and then making a woven art and a card with that paper. Winter 2024 Session 2 Feb-Mar Weekly Once, total 8 classes, Every Tuesday Time: 1 hr each class 8 weeks (02/06, 02/13, 02/20, 02/27, 03/05, 03/12, 03/19, 03/26 ) All material included Over eight sessions, the focus of the class is to teach a few mixed media techniques and to encourage kids to express themselves without fear of judgment. Positive reinforcement and constructive feedback to build their confidence and motivate them to continue exploring their creativity. They will be completing at least two to three artworks to bring home. Few projects that students will focus on are outlined below. -Comic art : Kids will create art on canvas board with comic books, paints and marker pens with a story line of their own. -Wool art : Kids will create artwork on canvas boards using materials like wool. Ribbons. Paper, stamps etc. The idea is to form a beautiful pattern using different materials, colors and textures. -Mixed media painting : if time permits then they’ll create another art work using mixed media techniques they have learned so far.
