Terms & Conditions

Please review terms and conditions to pariticipate in Expressions 2024

  1. All participating Artists must fill the forms and pay the participation fee of $80.00 by March 15, 2024. This fee covers the cost of the venue, promotions for the event: flyers, signage, online advertising, website, etc

  2. Artists spot at the exhibition is at the discretion of The Meraki, we will curate and confirm your spot by March 31, 2024. If you do not get a spot, we will refund the participation fees.

  3. Participation fees is non-refundable after April 26, 2024

  4. Participation fees is non-transferable.

  5. All participating Artists are expected to assist in promoting this Exhibition. The participating artists are expected to:

    1. Join the WhatsApp Group created by “The Meraki’ for free flow of planning and organizing the Expressions

    2. Put up the exhibition’s flyers (provided by The Meraki) in shops and other community spaces.

  6. Artists/their helpers are expected to be present at their booth/ location of art throughout the Exhibition. They should be available to meet the public during all hours of the exhibition.

  7. Keeping in mind the family nature of this community event, we require all artwork to be family friendly (no nudity or work of a mature content or nature).

  8. To protect the integrity of the The Meraki event, the Artist agrees NOT to drink or serve alcohol or other intoxicants during the event hours.

  9. It is the Artists' responsibility to contact their insurance companies with any questions regarding the exhibition, and coverage for the event.

  10. By providing the required artwork description and images to The Meraki- Expressions 2024, the Artist freely grants The Meraki and its coordinators, volunteers, agents and sponsors, the absolute right and permission to copy, exhibit, distribute and/or publish the above listed information in relation to Expressions-2024.

  11. Sales tax – At Artist’s own discretion/responsibility. The Meraki has no obligation on sales involving the collection of sales tax on the sales made during the exhibition.

  12. The Meraki is not responsible for any damage or loss of the artwork or any personal items of the artists during the exhibition, Expressions- 2024.
